Meet African Rain Frogs That Look Like Grumpy Avocados And Have Adorable Squeeks

This frowning frog isn’t actually angry or grumpy – that’s just how the Black Rain Frog always looks. The species is only found on the southern slopes of the Cape Fold Belt in South Africa at elevations of up to over 3,300ft (1,000m). When it feels threatened, it will puff up and enlarge its body, looking like a ripe avocado, and let out it’s funny squeek.

Hey! It is like you understand my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, just like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some images to drive the content home a bit, besides that, this is informative blog. A wonderful read. I will definitely return again. Kellina Pat Conti
